Reading, Reading, Reading:

The students are doing a great job with their independent reading.  Please continue to monitor your child’s reading at home; as it should be part of each day.

 

Math:

We will be working on memorizing the multiplication facts.  Please review these facts daily with your child.  Please also review subtraction with regrouping. 

Parents, please help your child practice the multiplication facts.  Students will need to memorize through the 12’s.  A weekly multiplication timed test will be given on Thursdays starting with the 0’s.  Once your child passes, he/she will move up to the next number.  Thanks for your support.

 

JBE Planner:

The JBE Planner is used each day to write down home learning assignments and important dates and reminders.  Please check and sign your child’s planner daily.

 

Thursday Folders:

Each Thursday your child will bring home graded papers and JBE communication papers in his/her Thursday Folder.  Please review these papers with your child and sign the Thursday folder and return Friday.
