SCHOOL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (SAC)

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a link between the school and the local community.   It serves as a mechanism for participatory management through which the various shareholders in the school community may assist the school.  Shared decision-making among all constituents of the school, community, both internal and external, can benefit the school and produce better student outcomes.  The shareholders are parents, business people, students, other community interest, professional educators, and other school staff.  The School Advisory Council is a resource to the school and the principal.  The term advisory is intended to mean: assist, suggest, recommend, inform, and consult.  SAC meetings are held on a the third Monday of each month.  For more information on times contact the school or check our monthly calendar. Co-Chairpersons are Donna Watkins and Jennifer Weekman.

The Jensen Beach School Advisory Council is looking for interested parents and community members to serve on next year’s SAC. This committee serves as an advisory committee to the school. Please call the school at 772- 219-1555 for more information.
