Hello. This is Don Merritt calling from Jensen Beach Elementary with a listing of school events and announcements for this coming week.

Parents…please remember that you must provide an absence excuse when your child is not in school. The note must explain the nature of the absence, and it must be one of the approved reasons as stated in the elementary code of student conduct which was handed out at Open House.

JBE has a full service breakfast and lunch program. If your child is on a special meal program, please check out our menus and encourage your child to take advantage of a nourishing breakfast and lunch each day.

This week at JBE:

Monday – is third grade honor roll assembly at 8:30am. Parents are invited. The classes of Mrs. Engel and Mrs. Aursland go to the Environmental Studies Center too.

Tuesday -  is banking Day! Don’t forget your deposits! The classes of Mrs. Curtner and Mrs. Murphy go to the Environmental Studies Center too.

Wednesday – is report card conferences from 5-8pm. Please be sure you call for an appointment. The classes of Mrs. Robertson and Mr. Boudreaugo to the Environmental Studies Center too.

Thursday is handout day so please check all student backpacks for important announcements. Chorus also meets each Thursday after school. The classes of Mrs. Farriss and Mrs. Chesrown go to the Environmental Studies Center too.

Friday – is a non-school day for all students and staff.
